EDUPAVI Canada’s most highly anticipated event is coming back for its 9th year in a brand new location, and you’re invited to join the party!

This market is a little different than others around town. Our awesome community of change-making vendors gather every winter to not only provide a way for holiday shoppers to buy local, but to also raise critical funds to make education possible for our students in Guatemala. We are committed to creating an environment rooted in generosity and support, where the talents of makers are celebrated and the vibes are good all around!

HOW IT WORKS:

Each vendor at our Market chooses a voluntary percentage of their profits to donate to our elementary school in Guatemala. This way, our customers can support local artisans and empower real children at the same time with each purchase!

We operate on an honour system - tables will display the % of profits donated and the amount will be e-transferred after the event. We will gladly provide a tax receipt for your donation.

    • A nonrefundable City of Vancouver fee of $30/$45 (half/full table) is required to confirm a spot. This fee covers the City of Vancouver charge for any revenue-generating event on their properties.

    • As mentioned above, you get to decide what % of your profits you’ll be donating to the work we get to do in Guatemala! Your partnership creates a direct, tangible difference in the lives of real people. In the past, vendors have donated anywhere between 15%-100%!  We are grateful for your participation in whatever capacity you have.

    • If you are able, we would greatly appreciate a contribution to our raffle prize which will be awarded at the end of the event.

    • Attendance in the past has been in the range of 350-450 people. We are hoping to see more come through our new venue, so please help us spread the word!

    • Should you receive an acceptance email in early July and confirm your spot, you will receive further instructions/confirmation of logistics as well as sharable promo material in mid-September.

    • Market entry fee for customers will be $2 or by donation. Separate entry is available for purchase for access to the garden.

    • Parking in the VanDusen lot is free.

    • Although we are grateful to host our market in such a beautiful venue, this event will take place in Vancouver in mid November so it will definitely be indoors!

    • Tables and chairs are provided. Vendors are responsible for bringing all other decor supplies, including a tablecloth.
