Newsletter #22: Another Year (almost) Complete

As 2023 comes to a close, here are a few last minute things we want to share with you:
Firstly, this is a LAST CALL for any donations you might have been meaning to send in before the year end! Any donations made $20+ are eligible for a tax receipt, which will be sent via email. You can

The Guatemalan school year starts in January, and most of our major expenses (school supplies, classroom equipment, building rentals, etc) are frontloaded at the beginning of the year.
This coming year, we're also planning to expand our physical space to accommodate an additional two classes of students (preschool + Grade 8), bringing our total number of potential students to 110! We would deeply appreciate any amount you feel called to contribute to our mission of empowerment!
Secondly, we were more than blown away at the success of this year's Craft Fair, which saw almost 400 people come through to support local makers while empowering children through their holiday purchases.
The 6th annual EDUPAVI Craft Fair, presented by TD Canada Trust included 30 vendors, 15 volunteers, a spinning wheel lottery, a thrifted goods corner, local artists and cookies/ceramics/handmade goods galore!

And lastly, we are so grateful to report that your through your generosity, we were able to meet our Giving Tuesday match goal of $2500! From Nov 25-28, you donated $2656, bringing our total to $5156.
